Alright to start off, I'm about to purchase a 1999 Dakota SLT with the 5.2L magnum. My budget for a vehicle was about $4000-$6000, and I'm buying this from a friend for $800, and it's a good deal to say the least. I need two new front fenders, but besides that the truck is in pretty good shape. I've never had a second gen before, and since I'll have money left over, I'd like to buy some performance parts for it, starting with a supercharger. I know this could be a big project, but I don't need the truck for more than a year, so 1) I don't want it to be expensive and 2) I don't mind if it's cheap, as long as it kind of works for around a year. I have mechanical experience, and would like to do the majority of the work myself, but also have a garage who will work on it if necessary. So my questions: does anyone know of a place to get a fairly cheap, probably used supercharger? Also, any other suggestions on upgrades?
