Ok so the wife and kid and i went to mcds today and when we came out started the truck it was spittin and sputter put it in reverse and was jumpin and missin put in drive pulled out was doin it for a min and then quit and but noticed its smokin now idk if it was before or not....any ideas

 

Its a 98 3.9 auto 2wd btw

 

not sure on the smoke, but the stutter could be a coil going out. my 04 stuttered for a while before a coil went out on me.

Thanks for info im gonna change plugs wires cap rotor and coil jus to make sure and i figured it burning oil so gonna do oil change with some engine restorer and hope that helps
