Default radiator

well just when it got a little cold down here in texas, my truck decided to **** itself..
i found the leak its a two inch crack on the top part of the radiator but right under the fan shroud where the solid top meets up with the body of the radiator..
the top is kind of crimped together and right near the crimped corner is where the crack is.
i have slowed the leak with JB weld and im probably take a little more time and re-cover it a little better to see if i can completely seal it.
The question at hand is if anyone knows if the radiators on kotas are aluminum or brass?
hence whether i can weld it regularly or the other option is this aluminzied high-zinc weld stick that a guy i know can sell me..
anyone with similar problems or that knows about this sort of thing i would appreciate the help..
Im also looking into used radiators but a new one costs upwards at 400 dollars..
thanks again

Default RE: radiator

ok well it looks as though my multiple Jb welds are holding, i just ran the motor until good and hot where it usually started pouring and now im not even getting a drip. Maybe the stuff did the trick
