I undercoat myself with fluid film, and I do it myself messy but I know the frame gets a good coating, and I got a buddy that lets me use his hoist so.. unfortunately the 2003 kota I just bought has never seen undercoating once in its life yet so gonna be a messy adventure next week lol in which I assume under the flairs prolly nothing left

 

Hey it's been a while since I said so but I've got the electric fan going in now; I pulled it from a 6 cyl mustang for 20 bucks. Getting the relays temp and wiring soon from ebay along with a shark fin antenna and a canadian flag for the roof liner. I picked up some bondo from crappy tire yesterday. and now I'm thinking of fuel.
my question is does anyone know what the stock injector size is of our 3.9 litre engines? or maybe a link on here for a thread about that?
what i think i want to do is run 25 # injectors and a holley fuel pump. get a proper tuner and let her rip taterchip
would that work or mess with the computer

Not positive but there are pretty good reference sheets in the sticky notes. Some of the links are dead but if you keep at it you'll find a bunch of material on your Truck. I just bought a 03 SLT Dakota thats pretty much just stock. I want to get some pictures of it up before I start on it. Shame so much of these forums are DOA.

I've been waiting to detail my truck but since I bought it it's just rained or snowed and turned cold. That's when I planned to take pictures, during the detail. I bought a ton of stuff for it though. I bought projector Headlights . . the same ones as on yours. I was wondering what they were going to look like in the truck . . thanks for the preview BTW

Also got LED taillights and center brake light. bought a radio and speakers from Crutchfield. some LEDs for the dash. I'm going to paint the wheels and plasidip the bumpers. The bed cover needs replaced and headliner is sagging . . few other little things that need fixed like the blower doesnt work on high, . . . fog lamps dont work . . etc,. . . etc. so with a clean slate I too was looking for a good MOD forum to get ideas from. If enough of as Dakota newbies can get together . . ha ha! Anyway, My name is Dale and I live in Pittsburgh . . GO PENS!

Bone White w/Black trim and Silver accents

the headlights i have are nice looking but the lights need to be tilted up a little because as they come theyre too low. just a quick thing while instaling but a little anoying \
i just did my headliner today actually, looks really nice and cost like 20 bucks.
i put the canadian flag up there. next cosmetic and function fixes i need to do are a few rust spots and fix the cotter pin that broke is the spare tire winch. next go fast is purchase everything to support bigger fuel injectors; rail, lines holley pump, camshaft.cc
then a 3.55 posi oposed to my 3.21s

oh and the first thing i did last year when i got my truck was safety of course but full tune up and look over.
