Default p0750 need advise

2004 Dakota
4.7L 2wd 545RFE

Recently got the p0700 one cold morning. Truck went into limp mode. Reset it and drove fine for a week until it started going into limp mode more frequently. Had it scanned and showed p0750 shift selenoid fault. Did some research and ended up changing out the shift selenoid, new filters and fluid. This did not fix the issue as I still have a cel for p0700/p0750 and still goes into limp mode as soon as I start driving. From what I've read this may also be a faulty TCM/PCM. I'm looking for some advise from someone who has experience with this before I go replacing the PCM. Checked the harness and it looks fine as well as the pins on the PCM. Any help and advise is greatly appreciated.

Just realized I spelled advice wrong. Anyway, is there anyone with experience with purchasing a re-manufactured PCM? From what I gather at this point with my PCM needs replaced and while there are many companies that sell them they don't have the best reviews.

From my understanding the TCM is part of the PCM in my dakota. I have a 4 plug PCM. I apologize but I'm new to Dodge trucks and still learning my way around my dakota. From my research the TCM goes bad throwing a p0750 which is assumed as being a faulty shift solenoid.
