Default Bad Vibrations

Hi All,

I'm looking for some advice on my 99 Dakota Sport 4x4, 5.2L, Automatic Trans. Over the winter it has started to develop a major vibration felt everywhere. The best way I can describe it is it feels/sounds near identical to driving on the rumble strip on the side of the interstate at 70 MPH. The vibration starts around 50 MPH and does not stop with additional speed. If I shift into neutral the vibration stops completely. When in neutral at speed it is like riding on glass, perfectly smooth.

It may be unrelated, but there is also a squeal from the right rear that sounds like belt noise when starting from a stop. A few chirps and its gone over 5 MPH.

Thanks for your help!

C

Thanks, the more I experiment, the more I'm leaving to the same conclusion. When it warms up a bit I'll have a look. Thanks

agree with driveshaft U joint.
