Some vehicles use a special connector called the Diagnostic Junction Port (DJP) which serves as the "hub" of the bus. The Miller special tools (8339 and 8360) are designed to connect to this test point for bus diagnostics. The DJP is a connector located behind the knee bolster or near the steering column, and it provides an access point to isolate most of the modules on the bus in order to assist in diagnosing the circuit. Chrysler stopped using Diagnostic Junction Ports in 2003.
