Hello all. I'm looking to replace the transmission and maybe even engine in my 2nd gen Dakota. I have the 3.9 Magnum and 42RE. I found a 1989 Dakota with a 3.9 LA and rebuilt transmission. If I swapped over heads, the intake, lifters, and pushrods would I be able to swap the engine and transmission into my 2nd gen? It is 4x4 so I don't know if the transmission would bolt up, or even if I could put in the LA block. Thank you all in advance for any responses and input
