Guys, I have a 1998 Dakota 4X4 3.9 liter and motor died, I bought a 2003 Dakota 4 door 4X4 but it has magnum V8.
My question is, will the tranny and transfer case out of 1998 v6 Dakota fit my 2003 with V8? I was gonna rip it out and keep it for a spare if it does.

transmission is different, transfer case is likely different (03 is likely electronic, 98 floor shift). Engine will transfer over if you can get a 98 V8 engine harness.
