Default Blowing fuses for dash lights and tail light, tag.

I keep blowing fuses on my 01 Dakota. I have replaced the fuses and as soon as I turn on my lights, the running lights come on first. The fuse blows. Help please!!

Does your truck have a trailer electrical connector?

At the back of the frame, behind the spare tire there is an electrical connector at each bumper mount. Unhook those 2 to disconnect the rear lamps. If the fuse still pops, it's in front or in the switch itself
