Default Need bolt size, please!

So, a while back I removed the front drive shaft on my 2004 Dakota 4x4 SXT to replace the CV joint where it bolts up to the transfer case. Like an idiot I misplaced the 4 bolts that attach the flange on the front end of it to the front differential flange before I was able to get it reinstalled. Dodge wants $5-6 EACH for those 4 bolts, so I'm wondering if anyone can provide the thread size and pitch so I can pick up some grade-8 bolts at the hardware store. This info would be MUCH appreciated!

My guess would be either english 7/16-20 or 1/2-20. Doubt it's 3/8-24.

It's also very possible it's some metric M10 or M12 manure.

The hardware store would probably let me take a few outside to try them, but when I'm in town during the week I'm dressed in fairly nice clothes and crawling under the truck wouldn't be feasible. Gonna have to think about this one.

Try and download a parts manual for your truck they usually show the bolts needed but you may need to convert what they show.

Thank you, that seems to have been very helpful! I didn't expect the manual to show the bolt size, but it says that it's an M12 and I have discovered other data that suggests it should be an M12x1.75x32.5mm.
