I have a 98 Dakota 5.2 318. truck has no spark, power to fuel pump also cannot connect to the obd2 port with a scan tool. if i leave the key on and let it sit it dings 3 times and the cluster re cycles.

any ideas what this would be? truck ran fine before i parked it.

 

Did you check the fuses an relays already?
Dash problem sounds like a short or connection issue..Maybe ignition issue at key cylinder wiring.

yes already through that. the thing that make me believe its the ecm is no voltage to the tps.

 

Yes that too .
Be sure ecm is getting power an secure connection .
I'm not sure if these ecms have the backup battery in them or not ..But if they do check that too
An check that key on is functioning correctly.

 

ecm has power i have checked all this stuff.
