Good afternoon dodge forum team. I'm I need of info hot a 01 Dakota 3.9l engine 5 spd manual trans. looking to do a v8 5.9l swap. Need info on what do I need to install an automatic trans electronic wise. I would really appreciate your guys input thanks.

 

MT to AT swap won't be as easy as an AT to MT swap. Alot of panel patching, and electrical replacing.

Doable, but I hope you like digging in junkyards.

 

Purchase a donor truck and swap everything over.

 

Why would you want to swap to an auto?
