Yes just hot and ground to run the power portion. I grounded them right to the floor and ran a power wire to my battery with a fused link in line.

Ok so not really plug and play but even then thats not too bad for heated seats are they electric too?

Sounds like the newer models may be plug and play but not the older ones (pre 2000). There's four wires for the heated seat element so you need to hook up the correct two to ground and power in order to turn the elements on. Both seats are electric as well. The power portion was very straight forward to hook up. I also cut the factory pigtail connectors from the Durango I removed the seats from so I was able to splice my wiring into the factory plugs which allowed me to hook the seats up to the factory connector but with my own wiring going to them.
