2004 dodge dakota blows two codes
Hi ya'all. I've had a 2004 Dodge Dakota quad cab SLT 4.7 4x4 with an automatic for about 6 months. Very reliable but a major rust bucket. Recently I may have overheated it after I swerved into a snowbank to avoid hitting someone who was in the wrong lane. I was stuck about 3 hours and during that time overheated my engine. The v8 was encased in snow and overheated. It now blows a P0171 (system too lean bank 1) and a P0480 (fan 1 control circuit). In addition to this, it makes a sound during load and acceleration that may be a valve tick. Further, the coolant looks like it may have oil in it so I recently sent an oil sample to the lab to see if theyre mixing.
If anyone could provide any insight into what the codes may be or has any advice or experiances with these trucks that may be similar, I would be very happy to hear it. Thank you so much for your help.

Those engines DO NOT like to be overheated. Start with a compression check.
