As the title says i’m doing a 3.9 to a 5.9 swap as well as bringing the 46re with it. My question is what do i do about the shifter cable? will the 3.9 cable work? Does anybody know from experience considering this is a common swap, thanks.

 

shifter is the same as long as both transmissions are the same era (97-00 or 01-04)

If they cross the 2000 breaker, then you'll have a bonus of electrical issues.
