I had to replace the water pump on my 99 Dakota 5.2 due to bad bearing and seal leak... all fine until I finished and noticed the radiator drain valve wont stop leaking... I heard it is a 90° turn and pull to drain and that is what I did but now pushing it back in and turning back wont stop leaking. It does not seem to come off to change an o ring... and I cant afford breaking it.. Anyone had one of these fixed. Any advice wellcome.
Mine had a small length of hose attached to the spout that was then pinched shut. Must have been the previous owner that thought up that one, but it was simple and effective.
