Default 1999 Dakota 5.2 radiator drain plug leak

I

had to replace the water pump on my 99 Dakota 5.2 due to bad bearing and seal leak... all fine until I finished and noticed the radiator drain valve wont stop leaking...
I heard it is a 90° turn and pull to drain and that is what I did but now pushing it back in and turning back wont stop leaking.
It does not seem to come off to change an o ring... and I cant afford breaking it.. Anyone had one of these fixed. Any advice wellcome.

Mine had a small length of hose attached to the spout that was then pinched shut. Must have been the previous owner that thought up that one, but it was simple and effective.

See if you can get it out by pulling on it with a pair of pliers, while turning.
