Hello there I need my drive shaft that connects to the transfer case replaced. I already have the part but just need to know if I need to line up it and mark it or can I just take it off and put the new one on. Thank you Derrick

 

On mine I marked the old one. An matched up new to same position.
Also I noticed inside of the yoke splines ,mine had a flat mark -I used it as reference for next one..
Didnt have to balance mine ..
