2003 Dakota Blower Ground Wire
Hey y'all!
We have a 2003 Dakota (3.9) but the blower randomly stopped working. We have replaced the heater core, resistor twice, and now most recently we've replaced the resistor and wiring harness again. However to no avail and it's driving me completely insane.
I short circuited the system and put a ground at the blower and connected it to the "A" post and the motor worked wonderfully so it has to be a ground wire. Does anyone know where that particular ground wire leads to? I've traced it from the motor, around the passenger airbag and back to the control switch. I've been told it grounds out in the dash but I've yet to see where.
Thank you

The motor grounds through the dash controller.
Ground 207 is shared by pretty much the entire in-dash electronics system plus the power outlets. It is located under the airbag control module, next to the Diagnostic Junction port (-NOT- the OBD port), and roughly directly under where the 4x4 controller would be (inset pocket on 2wd)
