Default 99 Dodge Dakota anti theft security system

My son's 99 Dodge Dakota was broken into and was trashed when they tried to steal it so I replace the ignition switch and a new ignition cylinder that came with new keys insult everything went to start it and nothing no crank Dash gauges don't work nothing only security light comes on I still have the original key that went with the vehicle originally but that's no good because it doesn't fit the ignition switch no more the cylinder so what do I have to do to get the new keys to start working and turn the vehicle over with the new keys any suggestions will be helpful but remember the vehicle will not start so I can't do anything with the vehicle

Check fuses and relays. Something may have shorted out and blown a fuse/s.
