parking lamp wire rubbing???

Default parking lamp wire rubbing???

ok i have a 1997 dakota with a 3.9 5speed. when i pull my light switch on the first notch for just the parking lamps, the fuse blows right away. u can put a new fuse in it and pull it right back and blows again. what is my problem? is a wired chaffed and rubbing on something? thanks

Hmmmm it sounds like its grounding out to something probbely a good chance the wires rubbed threw some where like you said i recon your best bet would be to follow the wire espically in the tigher ares and make sure it hasnet chaffed against the engine or frame. Good luck

well i think im just gonna take it to a shop and let them rip apart the truck
