Speedometer and A/C stopped working

I've got a '02 Dakota, 4.7L with an automatic transmission. The speedometer and a/c both stopped working at the same time. Everything else works fine. Seems odd that two unrelated things would malfunction together. Any ideas?

Maybe start by checking fuses for something that could affect both of them? 🤷‍♂️
