Default A/C not cooling well plus weird noise from evaporator?

A/C has a slow leak. If I charge it to appropriate level on the low side, the high side shows low. With the high side measuring low I'm guessing the compressor may be going out? Also, I'm hearing a strange noise (video attached) from what I assume is the evaporator. In 40 plus years and I don't know how many vehicles I've been in, I've never heard a car do this. Sound appears to come from area that I believe the evaporator is located at. Don't hear any sound from outside and only hear this when A/C clutch is engaged. Anybody have any ideas?

yea sounds like the compressor bearings are bad or clutch bearing but more likely the compressor.
