Default Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement

Hi Guys!

Looking to change out my intermediate steering shaft. The main reason being that the pinch bolt that couples the shaft to the rack and pinion (which I am replacing) has broken clean off during removal. I can't seem to find anything online for our generation Dakota regarding the process for changing this part. Please let me know if anyone has a breakdown and any pointers/tips.

Thanks in advance!

Hey, it helps if you post your truck details. Personally, I'd try to replace that bolt if possible. Call a dealership if necessary.

Here is my experience with the shaft. Hope it helps.
