knock knock...... no one home
I'm mechanically inclined and have a good understanding of the basics of how engines work but nowhere needed to solve things on my own. Here's my problem, my future brother-in-law is going to give me his 2004 Dakota SXT to me I just have to repair it. He's telling me that it's not turning over and all the while there's an engine knock. It wants to turn over but "sounds like a golf ball in a coffee can". I'm going to get eyes on it this weekend and get it moved to a place to work on it but could use some help on where to start looking to maybe have an easy fix.
Just so happens i may have ur donor 3.7
