supercharger?
Is there a difference between the 00'-01' 360ci and the 03' 360ci cuz I found some for those years and I figured they would fit. I'm not positive though cuz I don't know if the motors have any major differences. I guess you could contact the company and find out. I can give you the link if you'd like. Let me know
Having used/seen both vortech brand and a powerdyne on a GM block I would say it's really not worth it unless you get an intercooler with your setup. Try magnacharger and procharger--they both use the basic eaton(?) but make their kits for specific vehicles, often smog legal and often with an intercooler, and often times still able to run on pump regular with higher HP gains.
By the way, more for the RAM guys, here's what Kenne Belle told my dad about his '05 5.7 Hemi recently:

Paul, Here is the status on the screw-charger. Price is a little stiff. Maybe ATI ProCharger will come out with something

The Hemi kit is not available just yet, were still having problems
calibrating the electronics and for the ovious reasons will not release the
kit until the kit is bullitt-proof. We have been making good progress these
last few months but unfortuantly this process is very slow, and does not
allow us to pin point what day we'll have access to these codes but we are
shooting for another few months. Thank you for your patience and your
inquiry.....(It will ballpark around $4999.00 w/ the intercooler)
Thanks for your inquiry.

I can't tell from your web site, but I wonder if you
now have a supercharger kit for the 2005 Dodge Ram
1500 Hemi?
I need a California CARB EO number kit since I live in
California. I also would like to have an
aftercooler/intercooler set up with it because my last
supercharger setup (Vortech/on GMC 350 Vortec) was not
intercooled and it lost a lot of power after it was
fully warmed up. I couldn't add anything due to smog
laws.

anything 99-03 should be the same. Powerdyne, Procharger, Vortech, and paxton are a few that I know offer it.
Magnacharger is a roots style and is not offered for any dodge vehicle whereas procharger is a centrifugal and comes intercooled.
A few companies offer intercoolers for different kits that dont already come with one such as GS Motorsports and KRC Performance.

On a Dak RT you want a centrifrugal type supercharger. It will give you a streetable truck that makes progressively more hp as the rpms and boost increases. Roots style blowers are intended for an off road 4x4 with oversized tires. As mentioned, Magnachargers are not available for Dodge and Procharger is not the same type, its a centrifrugal.
While no one lists kits for the 03 they should work just the same as mentioned. I would avoid Powerdyne altogether. I have heard in the past of quite a few Dodge owners that had issues with them. Some lost motors because of impellar failure. If they resolved the issues with the kits or the owners were overdriving them Im unsure. If your spending that much money get a good kit & dont find out the hard way. RTSpeedDemon on truckworld.com has a Procharger on his 03. May want to do a search at their site and see if he can shed any light on issues you may run into. I have a Procharger D-1SC on my 96 Indy with the upgrade to a 3core intercooler from the 2core supplied with the base kits. Intercooled as mentioned is the way to go.

through considerable research, ive found people experience more reliability and better gains with the paxton Novi 2000. there are other smaller series from this maker and they are one of the more expensive kits, but are well worth it from what i am reading. a guy on this site ran an 11.91 quarter using the novi 2000 and a host of other mods. check them out. there are plenty other worthy brands out there that are easier on the wallet and make good power. shop around.

There is 5 brands available for the Dakota R/T, anything that covers 01-02 will cover an 03 as well. By far the most popular model with the faster guys is the Paxton Novi 2000 kit - it's the most expensive, but it also makes the most power and has the most tuning options available right now. The Vortech is generally considered 2nd place, then ATI, then Kenne Bell, then Powerdyne brings up the rear.
