Default 2004 3.7l V6 Dodge Dakota idle problems even after new IAC valve installed

I have recently replaced the IAC valve on my automatic 2004 3.7l V6 Dodge Dakota (167,xxx miles on body and frame, 54,xxx on engine, around about the same for rebuilt transmission) due to problems with rough idling, low idling, stalling. I currently have 3 codes coming up when I scan the OBDII. Those codes being: P0740 torque converter clutch circuit/open

P0700 transmission control system (MIL request)

P0508 IAC system circuit low

I'm far from an expert when it comes down to the technical sode of vehicles and I'm still learning new things myself.

The problem with idling/stalling has never presented itself in the past until recently before and after replacing the IAC valve. Being that I'm still learning a lot, I'm wondering if I was sold a faulty IAC valve? I'm really not sure and just looking for any logical answer. Does anyone have any idea as to why replacing the IAC valve hasn't resolved the issue? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Did you use a Mopar IAC? Dodge ain't too fond of the aftermarket units.

Negative I bought basically the second best. I take it I should have just spent the additional $20 or so for the Mopar valve.

I've read that Dodge doesn't respond well to aftermarket. I should have taken that into account. Too little too late I guess, but I'll definitely pick up a Mopar valve tomorrow. Thanks

I paid $70 for mine on Amazon and IIRC, they were cheaper on ebay, but I had an Amazon gift card.

Edit: Your truck uses the same IAC as mine. Here it is on ebay.
