Hey guys,
im lookin to put the new ram 1500 wheels on 04 dakota.
My lug pattern is 6 x 114.3, im switching to 6 x 139.7
I know i can get adaptors but i dont want my wheels to stick out much so id have to cut down my current lug studs, which I want to avoid. Im tryna see if I can get some sort of work around or custom parts or maybe if a ram 1500 year part will work with my dakota. On the front I think I could simply replace the wheel hub with a ram 1500 one, but I'm not really sure. On the back im wondering if the ram 1500 Axle shafts would work in my differential and fit correctly. But again I have no clue.
any info or ideas would be appreciated.

You're probably going to be out of luck on this one, and will have to figure it out on your own. I've been working on converting mine to a 5x?? pattern, which there's been a lot more interest in, for the last year or so. I've found very little on actually making a 5x?? conversion, and don't recall coming across any information on trying to change from one 6-lug pattern to another. Good luck with it. I can tell you that the rears will be a lot easier to do than the fronts, since axle shafts can be made with the correct length and bolt pattern. You'll just have to work out the brakes for that.
Once you do work it out though, come back and post how you did it to help the next person down the line make the switch. I plan to do this on my conversion, with a play-by-play and a full parts list.
