Default 3.9

3.9 swap to a 5.9 standard I have a 01 Dodge Dakota 3.9 L 5 speed wanting to switch to a 5.9 5-speed what all do I need to do to change it my motor is blown can't find another 3.9 can someone please help me out

If you're not too far from Tulsa I'm sitting on a perfectly good 3.9L. When school starts I'll be talking to my local high school to see if they want it for auto shop.

Computer and flywheel will need to be swapped too. Is the 360 a manual transmission engine? They often don't machine the pilot shaft port on automatic engines. Where are you located? I see wrecked trucks that were running when parked. The 3.9 was the most common one most years.
