Default 2004 dodge dakota

Hey everyone I have a 2004 dodge dakota 4.7 I'm having a problem with the heat at idle I have heat on drivers side don't have it on passenger side it has new radiator and also new heater core full of antifreeze I just got all the air out (I hope) installed new thermostat also still the same can some one help on the situation thanks

So the heat doesn't go to the passenger side vents? Do you get air at those vents? Sounds like a blend door problem but usually they get stuck on defrost. Did you remember to connect everything back up when you had the dash out? Might have missed a connector or had a door fail. I think 2001-2004 use electric motors instead of vacuum for the doors.

I get heat at the vents when I'm driving or when I get around 1500 rpm but when idle it's cool air coming from the passenger side drivers side works fine it got me stummped

So its cold on the drivers side at idle and always cold on the passenger side? Sounds like a bad blend door on the passenger side and air in the system still. The blend door will require you to pull the air box again. As for getting the air out, try driving on bumpy roads at higher RPM. Lock it in first and go bouncing.

Drivers side is warm all the time but when I stop at a red light or idle the passenger side is cold It's a 2004 dodge dakota 4x4 would air in the system cause it or not thanks
