Dakota/Jeep 2.5 engine intake manifold modification to use a 64mm Throttle body
First this is my test manifold not the actual manifold.
To be able to use a Throttle body larger than (62mm) the intake must be enlarged JB weld was used. This test manifold and the actual manifold have already been widened from a stock ID of (58mm).
A roto tool was used for this if you look you can see to go from an (ID) of 62mm to 64mm would leave me a very thin Throttle body mounting surface so I decided to JB weld up the area then open it to a (64mm ID).
Three sides will get JB weld shown is just the first area.
