I see your dilemma, although I can't see the full picture of where those brackets are bolted. Was thinking you might have to unbolt one to give you access.

For the picture of underneath? The bracket to the left of the filter ends up going to the transmission I believe. I wonder if I can take the bolts out of that bottom part though and squeeze it through.

Well I managed to get it. I unbolted that bracket in the bottom picture, 3 bolts, two to some thing going across and one to the transmission. Move the plate enough and the filter came right out easy. Put the new one in the same way

I forgot about the front axle brace. Yea, I can see that being a total B. Yeesh.
