Default 15" Factory Rims how big of tires can I go???

Title says it all. I have a 2000 Dakota currently with 235 75 R 15 tires. Does anyone know how much bigger I can go on the factory rims??? The tires just look way too small on that truck! I would like to do a 265 70 R15 or a 255, whatever wouldn't rub.

If you want you could always try to find a set of factory 16 inch rims if you want to keep the overall look. They released both 15" and 16" rims for these.

Yeah that's what I've come to the conclusion on. I don't know much about tires and I like to buy used. There isn't very many larger 15's but a ton of 16's. The junk yards I go to only charge $25 for chrome and $20 for steel, so all around it would be better to just ditch the 15's. Thank you for your response.
