To begin I am a 6'4" dude so I'm sure this doesn't apply to everyone:

I own a 2003 Dakota Sport with the 4.7 and crew cab. The center console is way too far down from me. I've searched about everything I can think of (phrasing-wise) for even a raised up attachment I could add to the existing console to make the cup holders higher and closer to me.. I know, not a huge issue,. But nonetheless driving me bonkers!

Any and all suggestions / sources / links / help / advice is greatly appreciated!

 

What do u have, buckets or split bench? If you have the bench seats, you might consider converting to buckets with higher center console. Junkyard items.

If you try to raise the center console on the split bench setup, the cup holders will become useless as they sit right under the dash.

 

I have buckets. I guess I was hoping there may be an add-on kind of set up that rests in the original cup holder slots making it like nearly flush with the main hold/armrest. Hopefully the junkyard has something because all the center consoles I've looked up are ridiculously expensive for whatever reason
