Coolant Leak,Heater Core Placement,Firewall drain line ? 1999 Dakota Club Cab R/T
Hello all and knowledgeable Dakota owners, I discovered coolant steadily dripping out of what appears to be a quarter inch OD drain line, pipe on the passenger side firewall area about level with the valve covers.
Is the heater core or some other cooling system device placed somewhere in the cowl or externally(which is probably a good idea if a leak does develop as it doesn’t flood the interior)and is this what I’m seeing?
Did my research, wasn’t able to ascertain exactly where the core was, sorry to have to bother you folks with this.
At any rate ,I’d like to tear into it, get it repaired and back on the road. No external coolant lines, heater lines, hose etc. seem to be leaking under the hood.
Thank you All “Fred”
