Hi all...I got a 2001 4.7Dak pick up (and i love it!!) but lately I it has been dinging... What i mean is, after I turn off the truck it will start sounding the warning bell as if I had left the door open or lights on... Checked all the fuses and found nothing wrong... Its driven me crazy!!!! any ideas on where to start looking for problem? By the way, it seems to do it mostly at night but sometimes in the day.. Thanks very much!!

 

Does the dinging ever stop? If so, what was the last thing you did to stop it?
I got so sick and tired of hearing mine ding when I did anything, I removed
the CTM and cut the circuit trace that feeds that stupid thing then re-installed it.
I still get all the warnings on the dash ok, just no more dinging ever!
