Default 245/75/17

Will 245/75/17 tires work on a stock lift 2001 Dakota? I have found a lot of people are buying jeeps and immediately taking them to the tire shop and replacing wheels and tires with fancy stuff. A friend had 5 full size Bridgestones in his garage, 15 miles on them. He had them on FB marketplace for $400. Couldn't sell them. Ended up he just wanted to get them out of his garage and I got 5 tires/wheels for $100! I could not find this size on the forum chart. I got these tires for my 2000 Wrangler. Just had to add spacers. What a deal!

Stock with no lift is 31"

275/75-17 is 31.5". Might have a little rub at full lock but probably ok.

Are you talking just tires? Does your Dakota have 17" wheels to begin with? Sorry to have to ask but I've seen people overlook that.

It currently has 16" wheels. The ones I will purchase are 17"wheels with tires. I know I will have to purchase spacers.
