Default interior electrical oddities

My 2001 Dakota is experiencing some odd electrical problems. During the day when no lights are on, I hit the brakes and the dashboard lights, radio, lights, etc., flash to dim. When I release the brake those lights go back to normal. When I hit the turn signal, it does not blink on off, but instead blinks on to a faded on. Any ideas?

if you have a trailer wiring harness that might be the problem, the same thing happened to me and all it was was a harness that shorted out.

Thanks for the tip. I unplugged the harness and then the only problem was a fast blinker which indicated the light needed to be changed. Now it works fine. Thanks again.
