Default left signal light and brake light problem

this is my problem on my 2000 club sport, when i use the left turn signal it makes my dashboard flash(including odometer) just like when you have the hazard lights on.And when i have my running lights turned on,the left turn siganl wont flash at all, and the cargo light and brake lights stay on. And to top it off my hazards will only work if running light are turnedoff. But my right turn signal always work. I have checked the fuses ,relays, grounds and multifunction switch (operates the signal lights and wipers). if anyone has any ideas what is doin this please let me know beforeit drives me crazy.

Default RE: left signal light and brake light problem

I had the same problem with my 02 but not as bad as you're having. I ended up replacing the turn signal control
and problem went away. You might try that first BUT it kinda sounds like you have a ground issue. Those are
hard to pin point. I'd start by looking for a loose ground under the dash...

Good luck...
