My 98 Dakota 5.2V8, manual tranny, needs an new look inside the cab. Has anyone installed a Hurst 5 speed shifter or another brand? Let me know your positive experience. Any recommendations and why?

 

i have a 99 dakota 318/5 speed i put a hurst shifter in it one thing FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS and also when i first installed it the shifter hit the dash.. solution: there are 2 bolts on the actual chrome shifter the holes in the shifter itself are alot bigger that the bolts to allow for some adjustment loosen the bolts and pull the shifter handle back all the way hold it and tighten. also use lock tite on all bolts theres alot of vibration. but this thing is 100% better than stock good upgrade for the money i got mine from mancini racing btw they have a website its www.manciniracing.com
