Default Crankshaft Position Sensor???

I have a 98 2WD 2.5L Manual and she keeps stalling out and sometimes will not run for 10-15 minutes. Fuel is all good. Spark is all good. Finally got a CPS Fail code, reset it and she runs fine for a couple days. Stalls and stutters, get the code, reset and run. I ordered a CPS from Rock Auto and when I go to change it out, I CAN'T FIND THE SENSOR.
Google says it is on the Passenger side of the block at the bellhousing. NOPE. I looked everywhere it would make sense to be. NOTHING.

Any Help would be great.

Adam

I know nothing about the location of the sensor for your truck .... But I watched a video once!

The guy bought a older Dodge plow truck ... possibly same era as yours.

His was on the passenger side at the rear. Keep in mind, this truck had rusted frame and had been abused ... he only planned to fix it enough to plow his dirt driveway at his cabin and never see the highway again.
He cut a access hole through the passenger side floor board to get to it to change it. ..... The truck was on a lift and had easy access to it from underneath or from top .... so much removal involved to get to it.

I'm just guessing it is on the passenger side and difficult to see. Should be a small wire harness going to it to help guide you.
