Just wanted to let you all know
A while back I posted some messages about my truck idling rough and bogging down when it was cold... well the computer originally said a multi-cylinder misfire... well it turns out it wasn't the spark plugs or the cap. It was actually the crank sensor.. The truck finally lost power and shut down as I was heading to work. I paid 277 dollars to get it fixed. 146 for the part the rest for diagnostic and mechanic time. Just thought I would let everyone know in case they run into similar problems.
Thanks for the info. It's awesome when someone comes back a posts the fix for a particular problem. That way when we run into it ourselves and do a search, we could potentially have an answer quickly. At least it only cost you $277.
