Default RE: superchip????

I found the first setting (85 Regular) did very little but the other two settings, Towing and Performance which both need 91+ Octane make real differances. Even on the best fuel available over here, I couldn't use the Power setting without it Pinging so I used the Tow setting. This, combined with the FAI and custom exhaust muffler made a real differance, the only drawback I found was that the Tow setting also adjusts the gearbox to make it less sencitive to kick-down (you really had to floor it to get it to kick-down) but it went very well. Recently, I found a cheap source of octane booster which allowed me to put the full Power setting on. The differance is amazing! Floor it away from the lights in the wet and all four wheels spin! (I've got the AWD system) The gearbox now responds perfectly to your requests without being too eager to rev at the slightest movement of your foot.
Either it hasn't installed properly or you've been using the 85 Octane program.

Hope this helps,

Paul
