Tow Hooks for '00 Dakota
Hi everyone!
I'm new to the forum here and I don't know if this has been discussed at all, but has anyone tried to install tow hooks onto a 2000 Dakota? I've been checking everywhere, and it seems like there is no way to do it unless you make it yourself - which unfortunately I am not skilled enough to do.
Does anyone know where I might get some aftermarket equipment that would fit my rig, front and back? I'm trying to get my truck 1 step closer to off-road readiness.
Thanks All!!!

I guess I never really noticed, but, Yeah! Why aren't there any tow hooks on Dakotas?? ... But any way, the one user, 28this, has a nice custom wench on the front ! That could be an alternative and good for off roading...
I was thinking of putting front and back tow hitches on it and then just use a tow ball or mod a hitch with a tow hook and go with that. That is definitely a last resort solution, I was hoping that someone out there would have found somthing that could be done without much modification to the truck or equipment.
I installed some towhooks from a late model GMC 1500 on my '04 Dakota.

Are there not OEM tow hooks? I hadn't really thought about it, but it would seem that there should be.
With those Chubby tow hooks you might want to look into bolting some thin spring steel to keep rope/chain from falling off. I've been eyeballing dad's tow hooks on his Yukon, he'll never need them.
