when i punch it at 0 or 20mph it wont shift from 1st to 2nd i have to left off and then hit it again or the motor will just redline back and forth???? wut can i do to stop that.....i thought a programmer would help that but i didnt it just made it redline at a higher rpm.

 

Check the fluid. Change it if dark in color. Also check to see if the detent cable is attached. I can't remember if there is a vaccum operated shifting module for that tranny.

I would first check the fluid and make sure it is bright in color. If dirty looking change it. That will cause it to act up too.
