I have a 1999 dakota r/t clubcab. It has power windows, locks, and seats (cloth). My question is should my truck have power windows?I don't know if the guy who sold it to me took them out before i bought it or what. There are not any switches for the mirrors and it looks like nothing is messed up.... I just thought it was really weird that my truck didn't have power mirrors.

If it has pwr window controls, they will be on the driver door above the window switches. The only other way you could really tell if you should have pwr mirrors is to take the mirror off the door and see if it has wires going to it. If so your control switch was probably replaced with one that doesn't have the controls.

you sure aren't the only one wondering that same thing. I have a 2000 dakota sport that has power everything...........but no power side mirrors. i just dont understand it..........the r/t's and the sports are suppose to be the fancy dakota's but they dont even have power mirrors! sure doesnt make one bit of sense to me!

The circular buttons and the rocker above them on the right side of the pic is the mirror controls, you should recognize the rest of the switches.

 

yeah i think i'll take apart the mirror like 28this said. But do you guys know if the dakota r/t had a model from the factory that had power everything except mirrors....it just seems weird that more than one person doesn't have power mirrors but has power seats....
