Hello, I have a 2000 quad cab 4.7 auto with tow package. Tow a trailer that's around 2500 pounds. Got a small hill by my home. When I get home I smell that lovely hot transmission smell.

Anyone had to get a tranny cooler installed to pull with these rigs?

 

Didn't have to get one installed to pull, although mine did come with one because of the offroad package. It is not a bad idea to get one if you intend to pull a lot.
