Default glove box codes

my vehicle package codes listed in the glove box states that I have a this:

DJB ----------Axle Front 3600#
DMD----------Axle Ratio (can't make out if it says 3.00 or 3.50 or 3.55)
DRB----------Axle Rear 3850# Corpo
DSA----------An?? Spin Diff

Can someone help me figure out whether I have a 3.00 or 3.50 or 3.55 axle ratio by the code DMD

Can somone help me figure out what "Corpo" is by the code DRB

Can someone help me figure out what leters might be hard to see by the code DSA

(I have 2000 Dak 4.7L Automatic 4X4)

I know lots of questions... But I'm new to the Dakotas and to 4 wheel trucks in general

Thanks in advance
Matt

Corpo would be the 9.25" corporate axle, aka the Chrysler 9 1/4

Or do the 4.7's get the 8 1/4? That part I don't know.

DSA is the Sure Grip anti spin differential, read: limited slip rear diff.

Axle ratio I can't find right now, but if you crawl underneath the front axle there should be a sticker wrapped around the fixed shaft coming out the passenger's side of the differential with the ratio on it. Also there might be a stamped metal tag on the rear axle held on by one of the bolts. Odds are that it is a 3.55. I think 3.55 and 3.92 were the only available options for the v8 4x4's.

Default RE: glove box codes

Okay we have the same truck (year and model) and the same codes in the glove box.

I don't have a direct answer for you on the axle weight ratings or what "Corpo" stands for yet but I have the Dodge service manual for our year truck and I'll see if I can find out. As far as the DMD goes, I have the same and that is a 3:55 ratio. You should also be able to look at the tags on the rear differential and they will say what it is. The DSA is the Anti Spin Differential and means that your rear end is exactly that. When one tire looses traction, the torque is transffered to the other wheel. This is a very good thing.
