Default tune up questions

hey I was wondering what all can be done to a 2000 4.7L 4x4 in the way of a tune up. I just changed the plugs, they were terrible, im assuming they were the originals, jus thought I should take a peek since i hadnt checked since I bought it a year ago and WOW did the need serious help. but what else can be done? oil change, I have a K&N filter, no plug wires (Coil Packs) instead which are fine. but what else??? any help would be appreciated. thanks

Default RE: tune up questions

Usual stuff, dist cap, rotor, PCV valve with the oil change , air filter/oil filter, flush your coolant in the radiator, differential and with a 4 wheel drive transfer case, tranny fluid, these things are usually done with a MAJOR tune up.

with high milage check your codes to see if your oxygen sensor is faulty, this may cause low MPG and running wierd, I jsut changed mine and am having problems, not sure what the issue is, cold blooded suddenly, I think I need more diagnostics, and a minor tune up
