Front tow hooks
Hey--
OK.......if you do a search on "mounting tow hooks" or just plain old "tow hooks" you'll find alot of information on some threads we covered no more than a week ago haha. To quick answer your question......Mopar makes a kit you can order thru your local dealership, but it goes for like $150-$200. pretty spendy. OR you could do what i did and order the brackets from a guy on here named GODRAMIT...he makes them himself, and his brackets fit any tow hook. He sells them shipped for $55. Then, what im doing, go out and get a set of chevy tow hooks (they are like $20ish) and get the nuts and bolts and you can do the entire thing, hooks, hardware and all for under $80....you save like $100 at least.
NOTE: Mopar comes ONLY as a kit, you cannot purchase individual items like the brackets or hooks seperate.

NO it was MY FAULT i didnt realize this post was in the Dakota catagory..........I feel dumb/retarded now so to redeam myself i did a search for you and to answer your question Mopar (i think at least) makes a kit for the dakota, reguardless and you should be able to get them at your local dodge/chrysler dealership...though idk how much they are....i know when i had my 98' dakota it woulda been nice to have them. Weird that dodge didnt make them a standard, or even an option.
NOTE: there is a pic/info of them on http://www.dodgedakotas.com/boards/v8/450.html
